With close to thirty years combined entertainment industry experience, TKG is your source for content creation, artist and label promotion, A&R, publicity and event production/management.
As booking agents, we represent some of the finest DJs in the sound system culture and sound-art arenas. No dance floor goes unshaken, no head unturned.
The roster of artists that are booked under the Konspiracy banner have played across Europe and North America with DJs and live acts as wide ranging as Kode 9, DJ Spooky, Akufen, Booka Shade, Richard Devine, Sutekh, Klute, Shimon, Loscil, Venetian Snares, The Orb and Pete Lawrence to name only a few.
As promoters, we have taken the lead in Vancouver and around the world with a series of events that have taken cutting edge music and brought them to the forefront of the public consciousness.
The Forward Sound Series, our home for upfront sound system music (dubstep, jungle, Miami bass, electro, grime), has been recognized by the likes of BBC Radio One’s Mary-Anne Hobbs for its work in pushing bass music in North America.
Focusing on quality ambient and downtempo music, the Panambient series has brought the new wave of ambienteers to ears, eyes and minds in San Francisco, Tokyo, Atlanta, Seattle, Vancouver and The Sunshine Coast.
With collective publishing credits that run everywhere from legendary Japanese website, Shift to Rinse, North America’s print home for drum and bass, we’ve got the written side of things covered better than most. Some of our staff have even been commissioned to create Essentials Lists for Apple’s I-Tunes Store.
Even when we’re not throwing parties we’re always available to help grease the wheels so you can secure the artists you need for your events. With over a decade in the promotions game, we’ve helped events like Canada’s legendary Soundwave festival secure talent like Dr. Alex Patterson of The Orb and more recently, Japanese analogue synth icon Hataken and ambient legend, Mixmaster Morris.
You name it and we’ve probably done it. Even if we haven’t, we’re not afraid to try.
